The Diploma Registry
The Diploma Registry is a digital service where users can retrieve their higher education results and share them with universities, potential employers, and others. The Diploma Registry is free of charge.
The Diploma Registry collects education results, i.e., degrees and grades achieved, and enables the owner of the results to share them with desired recipients. The Diploma Registry retrieves results from most Norwegian universities and colleges.
The Diploma Registry:
- makes it easier for applicants to present their results
- makes it easy for employers and educational institutions to receive results
- ensures that the shared information is valid
The Diploma Registry is a service that businesses and public agencies can trust, with the owner of the results easily able to showcase their results. The Diploma Registry is also connected to several recruitment platforms. If you apply for a job through a recruitment platform linked to the Diploma Registry, you can easily share your results in the recruitment system.
The Diploma Registry is used by:
- The person who has achieved/owns the results
- Employers
- Educational institutions
- Others who need insight into these results
Why use the Diploma Registry?
Normally when you apply for a job, you will be asked to submit your diplomas. For many years they have only existed on paper. We know that educational institutions use a lot of time producing diplomas and transcripts of records and that this requires large quantities of paper. We also know that educational institutions and employers, as recipients of diplomas and transcripts of records, both spend a lot of time and money checking whether the documentation is correct.
The Diploma Registry does this in a secure, digital, and more resource and cost-saving way. The service was developed on behalf of the Ministry of Education.
