The conference spans over three days, with both plenary sessions and deep dives into topics ranging from submarine network cables, via cloud services for researchers, to how artificial intelligence affects digital exams.
Long-term Nordic cooperation
The conference is the 32nd in the series and is the most important meeting place for the Nordic research network community. It brings together decision-makers, technologists, and researchers from the Nordic region, Europe, and the rest of the world. Sikt is responsible for the conference, along with the Nordic research network cooperation NORDUnet, established in 1986.
The Nordic network cooperation provides researchers, educators, and students with fast and secure access to colleagues and resources across the Nordic region and around the world. There is also cooperation on campus networks and wireless networks, cloud services, lecture recordings, video teaching, and access and login services.
Extensive international engagement for Sikt
Networking and related services are just one of the areas where Sikt is involved in extensive international cooperation that benefits Norwegian researchers, educators, and students. Open research, research information, student mobility, and teaching administration are other areas where we work internationally. Read more about Sikt's international engagement.
